A cell phone allows us to have a phone number for potential jobs to call us on. It gives us a means by which to secure employment, and get ourselves out of our homeless situation. IT also gives us a chance to connect with family and friends, possibly to network with them for jobs. It gives us a chance to call a friend for a shoulder to cry on when our homeless struggle gets difficult, which it often is.
